ShaRC (the Shared Resources Catalog) allows you to search for books, e-books, and media owned by Hood and the other libraries participating in the Maryland Interlibrary Consortium (Loyola-Notre Dame, Stevenson University, and Washington Adventist University). You can also log in to request books from the other three libraries.

A basic search in Discover@Hood will give you results for books and e-books from the catalog as well as articles, videos, and other resources from several of our databases. The default search settings will show only the resources that are available through Hood College Library. From off-campus, you'll need to log in to Discover@Hood with your library barcode.

If you don't know where to begin on your research topic, Discover@Hood is a great place to start. If you have a specific item you want to find, ShaRC may be a better choice.
